Happy Group was founded in 2000 with a mission: to improve the world through food.

Our first restaurant was located in the Marina of El Masnou, where we soon won the affection of our customers with a space oriented to enjoy the sea. In 2002, we opened our second restaurant in the same place.

And in 2003, we made the leap to Barcelona with Happy Bar & Grill, an emblematic restaurant located in the heart of the city, near the famous Plaza Catalunya, and created with the idea of offering quality dishes in a fun and original environment.

Sea as inspiration

From the Bogatell promenade in Barcelona, there is a privileged view of the Mediterranean. And that’s what made us fall in love with the idea of settling right here in mid-1994.

We started as a classic beach restaurant, with traditional Mediterranean cuisine of homemade dishes. Very familiar.

What made us unique is that we had a clear idea: we wanted our cuisine to be excellent.

This idea is what continues to move us today

El mar como inspiración

Desde el paseo marítimo del Bogatell de Barcelona, hay una vista privilegiada del Mediterráneo. Y eso fue lo que nos enamoró para establecernos justo aquí a mediados de 1994.

Empezamos como un clásico restaurante de playa, con cocina tradicional mediterránea de platos caseros. Muy familiar.

Lo que nos hacía únicos es que teníamos una idea clara: queríamos que nuestra cocina fuera excelente.
